Although I was a wreck this morning, the day ended with some very nice bliss and joyful moments. I was able to walk/jog with my beautiful daughter, and again, I was regrettably harsh - but after my release, was able to get out and spend some time with my favorite girlfriend, Michelle.
We went to The Matador in Redmond and shared some wonderful margarita's and appetizers and laughs. Then a stop over to her house for a glass of wine and the chance to see the gorgeous cats - somehow just the joy of petting the older male and holding him made me happy.
Then after I came home and just listening to the activity of the neighborhood alone, I got a nice text from Joe, a dear friend...who shared: "smiling was the emotion for the day!" And I couldn't help but smile back...
And finally, an annoucement on Facebook, my niece is now engaged (on her birthday - today)!!
