Fall Weekend

This weekend I enjoyed two special things: Saturday morning I woke up early and drove to Monroe for the Ruffles & Rust vintage market. I met my mom & sister there (the Three Caballeros') and we had so much fun going to each of the great booths, laughing, oohing and aahing and then sharing more laughs at lunch! The drive home, all I could do was just continue to smile...

Mom & my little sister, Mo ~
We found some fun hats to play with...
The DIVA... (lol).

Then later that evening, Boo (the special man in my life) came over after work and we had a nice evening of my gabbing his poor ears off about all the fun I had during the day.
But what made Sunday even more special was, dropped daughter off for work in the morning and on the way home, the sun came out so beautifully and the fall sky was just too good to pass up. Boo wanted to watch some football and I asked if I could go for a walk while he enjoyed his time! I quickly took the long path to Greenlake (going through the back woods area, so I could enjoy the fall leaves near the park) and as I literally happily walked/jogged along, trying to avoid the puddles from the rain last night, I again found myself with this huge grin on my face. I realized that this gorgeous fall day was almost also one month from the time Boo came into my life.

This special man is so my 'squirrel' (for those of you that have watched the animated movie: Up, its the dog!!), Boo and I are such 'squirrels'... starting one conversation and veering off to another one. LOL
Not only has he made me so happy to just be around, he has been so sweet to share things with the daughter as well (he works for one of the airlines, so gets passes) and he got her one to go to AZ for Halloween!
But, for me he has been just wonderful to have around. I light up when I think about him, his silly chats with me, we have a great passion (seriously! hee hee) and even when I'm being MY usual stupid self, he still comes back around. Now mind you, I'm not saying this 'relationship' is perfect (I still always have my fears - its the bad crutch I can't get over) but he has been with me for one month and I truly appreciate, admire and love having him in my life! His nickname, Boo, well - it's just fitting!

So after my jog home, I ran in the house to find Boo snuggled on the sofa and I couldn't help but just jump his bones... it was the great day, the great feel of my jog and the great feel of having time with him.
